Handcrafted metal and wood wind chime plays the notes from one of Pachelbel's most cherished melodies. Pachelbel wrote his Canon in D as a wedding gift for Johann Christopher Bach, the older brother of the famed Johann Sebastian Bach. It is one of the most popular pieces played at weddings today. Six tubular bells and four solid bells are hand-tuned to play D, F#, G, A, B & D in this lilting melody. Windchime is 5" diameter, 32" long. For an extra special wedding or anniversary gift, we will engrave up to 4 lines (18 characters per line) on one side of the wooden windcatcher.
