A popular tradition based on German folklore, the Nuernberg Bridal Cup lets both newlyweds toast their marriage at the same time from the same cup. The skirt is hollow and the smaller cup is hinged. One newlywed drinks from the skirt, the other from the cup. Legend says if they both drink without spilling a drop, they will have a long marriage and good luck for a lifetime. Handcrafted in Germany, cup is lead-free pewter with delicate relief work and a brushed finish. About 6 ½" high.
